11 June 2025 – Update
On 11 June 2025, the Malta Gaming Authority was formally notified that Dimsacon Limited (the ‘Authorised Person’) had appealed the Authority’s decision to revoke the authorisation bearing reference number RN/225/2021 (the ‘Authorisation’) before the Administrative Review Tribunal, pursuant to article 43(1) of the Gaming Act (Cap. 583 of the Laws of Malta) (the ‘Act’).
In light of the foregoing, and in terms of article 43 (2) of the Act, the Authorisation shall be deemed suspended until the appeal is determined, with effect from 11 June 2025. The Authorised Person shall remain liable for the applicable obligations emanating from the Act and the regulatory instruments issued thereunder during the suspension’s operative period.
21 May 2025 – Revocation of Authorisation for Dimsacon Limited (C 92886)
The Malta Gaming Authority has revoked the authorisation awarded to Dimsacon Limited, holder of Recognition Notice bearing reference number RN/225/2021, effective as of 21 May 2025.
This is being done in accordance with regulations 22 (3) of the Gaming Authorisations Regulations (S.L. 583.05) and regulations 8 (1) (f) of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations (S.L. 583.06).
The Authorised Person is thus no longer authorised to carry out any gaming operations in or from Malta with immediate effect.
This sanction is being imposed upon the Authorised Person in terms of the provisions emanating from regs. 9 (1) (a), 9 (1) (m) and 10 (1) (a) of the Enforcement Regulations.
This decision is subject to appeal in terms of article 43 of the Act.
