The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) fuses the commercial needs of operators with a deep understanding of gaming legislation and practice. As the single regulatory body responsible for the governance of all gaming activities in Malta, it is considered by many to be the preferred global remote gaming regulator. The Authority presents a top-notch regulatory environment, coupled with technical capabilities, which allows it to offer a world class service.
GamingMalta is an independent non-profit foundation set up by the Government of Malta and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). Tasked with the remit of promoting Malta as a Centre of excellence in the remote gaming sector globally, it is also responsible for liaising with the local relevant authorities to improve Malta’s attractiveness as a jurisdiction and enhance the ecosystem surrounding the gaming industry.
The mission of Identity Malta is to execute the functions and duties of the Public administration in matters relating to passports, identity documents, work and residence permits for expatriates, land registration and registration of public deeds, acts of civil status and individual investment programmes.
Malta Enterprise is the country’s economic development agency, tasked with attracting new foreign direct investment as well as facilitating the growth of existing operations.
Malta Remote Gaming Council
MRGC Council is made up of all stakeholders in the remote gaming industry including licensed operators, data carriers, Internet service providers, lawyers and professional services providers. The Council’s main objective is to serve as an ongoing discussion forum giving valuable feedback to the Authority to be able to keep abreast with the latest developments in the industry.
